Sisters on Sunday morning for Senior Recognition morning

Kris with some of her friends at Baccalaureate

This past weekend, Kristy began her final high school memories. It first began with a senior recognition dinner at our church. Each child got to have a table with their life's memories displayed. While many tables had trophies, certificates and childhood memorbila, Mom and I fixed Kristys up with hot pink/zebra and pictures of her throughout life. We just knew that it fir her to a "T" and she would absolutely love it! There was a dinner for all her family and close friends. Our family, Granny and Uncle Mike, as well as Kristy's best friend, Maggie and her mom were there. Even Eric came along. There was a slide show presented for each individual senior and the youth pastor stood up and shared a few words. He shared with them a scripture that I pray each of them holds dear to their heart. ~1 Timothy 4:12- Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. It was most definitely a night for her to remember.

Sunday morning, the seniots were recognized in worship service. They were each presented with a Bible too.

After church, Kristy, Mom, Granny, Uncle Mike and I all went out to eat at Chili's to celebrate Kristy!

And Sunday afternoon was Kristy's Baccalaureate Service at Bellevue Baptist.

We can't wait for this next week to go by and for Kristy to walk across the stage with her high school diploma! Can't believe the time is almost here... my baby sister isn't a baby anymore.
